Katie Chown is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a professional member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). She completed a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (Hons.) with a Minor in Religious Studies from McMaster University before going on to receive a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. Katie has worked as an educator, counsellor, and clinical technician in various academic and healthcare settings. Katie is experienced in providing counselling services to adults in individual, couples, and family settings. Katie provides a compassionate and non-judgmental space, offering flexible and accessible therapy. She prioritizes developing clients' self-awareness and takes a relational, psychodynamic, and holistic approach. Collaboration is encouraged in her work.
