Mariam Boshra is a Clinical Psychology Practicum Clinician completing a Master of Psychology (Clinical Psychology) at Adler Graduate Professional School. She is a Student Affiliate of the Canadian Psychological Association and holds an Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology, with a Minor in Sociology, from the University of Toronto.
Mariam is committed to creating a compassionate and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel supported, heard, and understood within a genuine and collaborative therapeutic relationship. She takes a person-centered and integrative approach to therapy drawing from a range of evidence-based approaches including, but not limited to, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and existential perspectives.
She believes that therapy is never a “one-size-fits-all” process; rather, open dialogue and collaboration are central to addressing the unique needs, goals, strengths, and lived experiences of each client.
